When you click 'Generate Script', you should get a link it your chat window which opens a window with the text that needs to be copied into a script.

No, this is an experimental version that would overwrite the other version. I think it's classed as a mod of a mod on the website, which is a bit confusing.

Thanks. The main part of the mod isn't a module in the sense that other mods are, so I don't have access to the automatic loading and saving of data. The link should work the same as other links people sometimes post about their Cabal, etc.

could you add TargetInfoName to the dohickey? its awesome btw! also I dont see a highlight thingy for TargetInfoResources when i mouse over that selection.

I forgot to add that in, thanks. You need to target something and build resources from ranged weapons for it to show up, otherwise it has no size.

Working good, looks great. Exported my script and appears to be working ok.

Hasn't happened to me yet today with current version, but yesterday with 0.3 the AP/SP frame was appearing on the top left of my screen at times. /reloadui fixed it.

Also the Ability Bar Shadow/Ghost is appearing again.

I'm really liking this addon; it was sorely needed.

Some issues I'm having:
  • As a previous poster mentioned, the AP and SP icons are guttered to the top left of the screen. /reloadui does not fix this for me.
  • My compass is also guttered top left, obscuring the Menu button.
  • Something weird is going on with the passive ability rack - if I mouse over the top left area of the screen, I get tooltips for them. Not a big deal, just didn't seem like intended behavior.
  • Edit: the above three issues, when they occur, occur together. It seems to be random.
  • I use Viper's Castbar Relocator because it strips the text from the dodge bar and it allows some customization of the text of the other bars (for instance, I only need to see the Target castbar text - I know what I'm casting). But his positioning feature is redundant to and conflicts with yours. It'd be great if you either replicated those features, or you guys looked into making them play nicely together.
  • If I /reloadui, it screws up the positioning of the Player info elements.
  • My experience bar is always empty each login until I actually earn some experience, and thereafter seems to show the correct values.

It's not related to your addon, but my chat windows refuses to stay put when I position them near the bottom of the screen - there's a certain margin they won't go below; I can position them there, but the next time I log in, the game repositions them so that the bottom is above that margin. Is there anything you can do about that, or is it out of scope for this addon?

Again, awesome work. I wish there was some way to donate to you on this site like Curse (with whom I'm becoming disenchanted). If there is, let me know.

I get that too, but I keep getting distracted and working on something else, lol.
I also get/got the Ability bar reflection issue, but can't remember if I fixed it for 0.4.

Thanks for the list. Most of these issues are the same involving the load order. I did partially fix it but I'll have to have a look again. This shouldn't affect the compass position as I don't change that.

I could have a look at including the ability to change the text of dodge, etc.

I always get the empty experience bar and chat windows moving too. If I remember correctly, I've always had that even before I installed any mods.

not working for me; link doesn't appear in chat, and i redid my chat windows too like the launcher said after the update

EDIT: christ on a cross... didn't realize it shows up as System text; i.e. the layout link is generated in the System Channel so unless you're subscribed to see it in the chat window, you won't see it period. :S Better make a note of that Dave! Not all of us use the system chat channel ya know :P

The ability bar shadow exists in 0.4

Also, I noticed that upon /reloadui, the UI resets position. A simple load of whatever cui script file will adjust things back, but wondering why/how this is happening. I've got auto_login and auto_teleport loading the cui script, but upon reloadui it resets.

One other quick thing, I noticed that running Viper's Castbar Relocator with CustomUI really doesn't work too well. I'm sure both mods use similar things, not sure how compatible they are.

I think I may just start again and break compatibility with all previous scripts. I added a few new features since the last version but I think people would prefer a stable version soon.

If both mods move the cast bars, then I guess it's not a surprise there may be issues.

With the issue of the SP/AP rack getting moved to the top left of the screen after zoning, conversations, etc.: I've narrowed this down to this addon. I have a feeling it has something to do with your replacement of PrecompiledClasses.swf.

Really, I'm not sure why FC would want you to do that; if anyone else needed to alter those classes they'd also need to replace that file (at least with the way you have it, in the Flash directory), so we'd only ever be able to use one addon that did so. I don't do Flash development so I don't know the subtleties of the API, but I am a software developer and that just doesn't seem like a good design approach.

In any case calling /reloadui and then calling my settings script does fix it - it's just tedious to do this after every UI refresh of any kind. May be worth looking into.

Still loving the addon; I'd have quit the game without it.

I only changed com.Utils.HUDController, which unfortunately is included into PrecompiledClasses.swf. I agree that it is a strange system.

The development version is barely usable at the moment, but I have started a new version from scratch (with copy and pasting). I wanted to wait until it is at least as usable as the current version. I just need to fix one issue and then hopefully it will be ready for testing tomorrow. It has an icon and loads and saves settings, so no need for scripts any more.
